Crew List
"The objectives for which the Trailer Sailer Club of Qld. Inc. was established are: The encouragement of sailing, particularly in trailer sailers. The promotion of such sailing races and the giving of such prizes therefore as the T.S.C.Q. may from time to time determine."
[Extract from our Constitution] In accordance with our constitution we invite all interested parties to sail with us either in their own boat or as a crew member on one of our members’ trailer sailers. To facilitate this undertaking we maintain a Crew List which members draw crew from when required as well as conducting Crew List Invitation cruises (not racing) in our Calendar and we can help those who have no experience to learn to sail, those who are sailing with further instruction outside of the racing environment, whether you own a boat or not. If you wish to be included in our Crew List please contact us by E-mail.
Those seeking Crew please contact the Crew Co-ordinator.

| Kazu (car-zu) | Hi Linsay Ian Reid from Huntsman: thanks for the Newsletter and attached information. We have a 23 year old Japanese lad, Kazu (car-zu) who is becoming one of our regular volunteers down at Sailability. He is a university graduate in Accounting and the Chinese language and works for a car parts manufacturer in Japan. He is on a "gap year" at the moment; sent out here by his company to experience the Australian way of life and polish his English. We have had two other young blokes from the same industry, with us down at Sailability over the past year. Kazu speaks very good English, is well presented, hard working and though he has limited sailing experience, he is very keen to learn and a very nice young bloke. I invited him down to the MBTBC on Sunday and he went out on Patience. I believe that went pretty well and despite the weather he enjoyed himself. Kazu would like to get a berth for the Moreton Bay Cup. Unfortunatelty we are overcrewed already on Huntsman or I would be recommending him to Darryl. I think he returns to Japan in March or April, so we a not talking anything long term.. If you want to have a chat I'm on 33933806. Kazu's Email address is ksakamoto7@yahoo.com and his mobile 0429901874. Hope you can help. Kindest regards Ian |
