Come sailing with us!
The Trailer Sailer Club of Queensland (T.S.C.Q.) was formed with the objectives of encouraging and promoting sailing, particularly in "Trailer Sailers". The T.S.C.Q. is a non-profit organisation promoting family sailing, encouraging Classic Classes of trailer sailers, seamanship and seeks to promote safety on the water.

Catering for Racing, Cruising or just having a good time out we offer one of the most active (an event every 2-3 weeks) clubs at among the lowest annual fees for membership.

Susie passed away Thursday 19th January in her sleep. The cause is as yet unknown and her funeral is expected to be held at her church in Brisbane in 1- 2 weeks. More detail will be posted when available.

Susie was a long-time member & very active member of TSCQ, her happiness & zest for life, abundant at all times, was most evident when She was on the water.

Some Comments:

May the wind be at your back & the sun forever on your shoulders.

Susie was truelly [sic] one of God's wonderful creations.
She will always be remembered for her cheerful nature and contagious smile.
A friend to all, she lived and loved life to the full.
Susie, you will greatly missed but never forgotten. I wish you fair winds and warm sunshine till we meet again ....

Evakool
Club Esky

Evakool have kindly donated this esky (as our old one was not looking too good).
We plan to take photos of it at various Club events & keep you updated as to it frequent flyer points status.
A bit like keeping up with the gnome in Amazing Race.

So anyone taking a photo including our new esky at a club event is asked to email it to me for updating.

New Trailer Sailer Library

New Trailer sailer library coming to www.johncrawfordmarine.com..au

As you may not be aware, JCM has been selling Trailer Sailers since the early 70’s. The company’s foundations and success has to be part credited to the initial 2 decades of sales with Trailer Sailers.

JCM was one of the founding businesses in selling Trailer Sailer’s with the early importation of many TS’s from New Zealand including the Farr, Sabre’s, Noelex and more. Over the past several months I have been gathering knowledge from John Crawford himself, John Russell (second owner of JCM) and Ron Edwards who still works at JCM after some 21 years.

We have been going through our store room and found up to 60 different trailer sailer models and their hand out sheets, information, price sheets and more. What I am trying to compile for a no charge, no commission and no kick back is a library on our webpage where people who have an interest in TS’s can browse the information we have online. I will also be trying to make the section active where others that may be in possession of other documentation and by gone stories can email it to us and we can post it online.

This has been a time consuming and slow process however I am sure the members of TSCQ and others in the country will find a lot of past information interesting.

In the meantime if you are able to help JCM with information or photos it will be greatly appreciated and mutually beneficial in building what I believe a first TS library.
